Adding a New Permit

To add a new lease, navigate to the Lease tab at the top of your homepage.  There you will see a button to create a new lease, along with up to date information about how many active leases you can create.  In this example the property is already at capacity so any new leases will go on the waitlist.

Below is the information available for a new lease permit. Name, address (or unit number) and the date the permit is granted, if applicable, are required.  In the example below there is no room for active permits so the permit cannot be granted (activated) yet.  Note that currently the platform does not send SMS or recorded messages, so telephone is not used.  

Note that while email is not required to create a permit, email is required if you want to send your residents information about their expiring permits or waitlist updates. If this is left blank they will not be contacted by the platform.Once you create the permit you are given the opportunity to add a lease and/or notes about the permit.  See related article on leases.  The notes option is shown below

Below is what is available for notes at a permit (not lease) level.

And here is that note after it has been saved to the permit. Note that at the time of the note there was no active lease, however that active lease will be noted if applicable.
