Adding a New Lease

You may add a new lease to any active permit that does not already have an active lease.  If you are at permit capacity and all permits have active leases you will not see a button to add a lease.

In this demonstration example the previous lease was deactivated, allowing us to add a new lease.

Below is the form for adding a new lease.  Note that currently the system does not communicate with any lease holders, so email and phone number are not used.  Name and start date are required. If you enable 'Is Month To Month' it is assumed that the lease rolls over every month until an end date is set.

Once an end date is set (and until a new active lease is created) the permit will begin to expire according to the leasing rules set up at the property (see related article on property setup information).

Once a lease is added it is viewable from the lease tab in the navigation.
