Property Setup Information
The Property Guard Compliance platform makes use of several key pieces of data at your property. A Property Guard support specialist will help setup your account.
Please have the following data available to make setup as straightforward as possible.
- Lease slack days. Defined as the number of days that your property allows a leasing permit without having an active lease. Example: 180 days.
- Minimum lease duration. Example: 6 months.
- Waitlist size to notify. Defined as the number of residents to be notified of their waitlist position each month. Example: 10.
- Maximum number of active permits. Defined as the maximum number of active permits allowed before enacting the waitlist. Example: 68.
- Fee amount and frequency. Defined as the amount and frequency that any fees associated with this permit are collected. Example: $50 every 12 months.
- Permit duration. Defined as the length that a lease permit is active, which can be a duration or the first of the calendar year.
- Hardship permits: if you have a fee at your property, does a hardship permit negate that fee?
