Property Setup Information

The Property Guard Compliance platform makes use of several key pieces of data at your property.  A Property Guard support specialist will help setup your account.

Please have the following data available to make setup as straightforward as possible.

  1. Lease slack days. Defined as the number of days that your property allows a leasing permit without having an active lease.  Example: 180 days.
  2. Minimum lease duration. Example: 6 months.
  3. Waitlist size to notify. Defined as the number of residents to be notified of their waitlist position each month.  Example: 10.
  4. Maximum number of active permits. Defined as the maximum number of active permits allowed before enacting the waitlist.  Example: 68.
  5. Fee amount and frequency. Defined as the amount and frequency that any fees associated with this permit are collected.  Example: $50 every 12 months.
  6. Permit duration. Defined as the length that a lease permit is active, which can be a duration or the first of the calendar year.
  7. Hardship permits: if you have a fee at your property, does a hardship permit negate that fee?
